A quick post with some more sketches for the Loch Dreagan game concept. There are some more variations  on the Water-based Monster idea, giving them enough grunt and fierceness while keeping the game light and whimsical. Some development sketches for the Scots as well, they are a critical element to get right as their relationship with the monsters forms the backdrop for much of the conflict standing in the way of our protagonists. I like the idea of their shape being something like a mushroom, the pieces on a board would be fun with that shape and they feel a little bit more like food that way. Both the male and female versions flesh out this shape differently – but in fun ways.
